The 2nd FTRA International Workshop on Cloud and Grid Interoperability (Cloud&Grid 2012)
Organizers: James J. (Jong Hyuk) Park, Hamid R. Arabnia, Young-Sik Jeong, Bo Hong, Chao-Tung Yang, HeonChang Yu
"Cloud" is a common metaphor for an Internet accessible infrastructure, hiding most of the implementation and deployment details in the field of ICT. Cloud Computing is becoming a scalable services delivery and consumption platform. The backbone behind Cloud Computing includes Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Virtualization of hardware and software.
The goal of Cloud Computing is to share resources among the cloud service consumers, cloud partners and cloud vendors in the cloud value chain. Cloud computing has been envisaged to be one of the main stream powering technologies of future ICT and next generation network.
The 2nd FTRA International Workshop on Cloud and Grid Interoperability (Cloud&Grid 2012) focus on Interoperability issues of grid and computing domain. It mainly focus on designing interoperable components, experiences and lessons learnt from developing interoperable services in the cloud and grid environment. This workshop aims at providing a forum to bring together researchers for sharing and exchanging cloud and Grid computing related research, technologies, experience, and lessons for building clouds of interoperability and coordination capabilities and services. We believe this workshop will be a place to help the research community to define their novel ideas in the current state of grid-cloud interoperability issues. In addition the workshop will help to define the future goals and services that cloud needs to support in various intensive commercial and enterprise applications.
The 2012 International Workshop on Advanced Technology and Information Management of Communications and Networking (ATIMCN 2012)
Organizers: James J. Park, Hui-Kai Su, Chien-Erh Weng, Hsing-Chung Chen
ATIMCN-2012 is a premium international workshop in all areas related to Theory, Development, Applications, Experiences and Evaluation of Advanced Technology and Sustainability Information Management of Communications and Networking gathers fellow students, researchers and practitioners in these fields from all around the world. The workshop is dedicated to address the challenges in the areas of delivering multimedia content using innovation techniques and sustainability information management of communications and networking. The workshop looks for significant contributions to advanced multimedia communications, reliable communication networks, multimedia P2P applications and services, and cooperative communication and networking in theoretical and practical aspects. The multimedia & networking computing domain emerges from the integration of multimedia content such as audio and video with content distribution technologies. This workshop aims to cover contributions in both the design and analysis in the innovation techniques and sustainability information management of communications and networking. It also intends to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry.
The 2012 International Workshop on Communication Protocol of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs 2012)
Organizers: Prof. Guoyin wang, Chongqing University Posts and Telecommunication, China
Organizers: Dr. Fengjun shang Chongqing University Posts and Telecommunication, China
The Wireless Sensor Networks is a network of sensor objects, together with perceived services that interact with these objects. Underlying the Wireless Sensor Networks are technologies such as RFID (radio frequency identification), sensors.
The International Workshop on Communication Protocol of Wireless Sensor Network will provide a high-profile, leading-edge forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present state-of-art advances and innovations in protocol design, implementation, testing, and analysis, measurement of protocol performance, protocols for specific functions, such as routing, congestion control, and security, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the novel ideas in the current state of WSNs issues.
